BLC is home to Washington State’s mobile legal unit, the Justice Bus. BLC partners with many local social service agencies who make space in their facilities for community members to meet with a BLC attorney who represents them before the Social Security Administration to obtain or maintain access to SSI, SSDI, and other benefits. When there is not extra space for us to meet with clients onsite, BLC utilizes the Justice Bus to expand our reach and add to the capacity of our community partners. This client centered delivery mechanism is the most recent way that BLC meets clients where they are.
