BLC celebrates all federal holidays, with the exception of Columbus Day, by closing the office. On June 19th, 2020, the BLC Staff collectively asked the board of directors to amend organizational personnel policies to include Juneteenth as a holiday that the organization celebrates.
The BLC Board responded unanimously and enthusiastically in favor of this request. Here is the exchange of positive change.
