We at the Seattle Community Law Center would like to share our appreciation for the giving values of Rotary. After sharing our mission with the Queen Anne Rotary the small club immediately sprang into action to make a significant difference in our King County Community. Rotarian Jon Aslin jumped in with both feet, took a lead in procurement, motivated other committee members and introduced SCLC to the rest of the Queen Anne Rotary Club.
Club president Susan Chatlos-Susor shared our message with other clubs, and with her husband and fellow Rotarian Tom, took part in the event, becoming some of the greatest donors of the night.
Maelyn came to the SCLC offices bringing Chen Yi with her. Every week they come to the office and dedicate their time and talents to assist our Directing Attorneys with vital work to expedite the services we provide in order to prevent, and end homelessness.
Because of the support of volunteers, like those from the Queen Anne Rotary, the Seattle Community Law Center is growing quickly, making huge gains in financial support, and most importantly, helping almost twice as many people this year.
